Two passes, one river valley and a proper touring spine. This road trip is shaped as a ride, not as a shortcut: leave the start cleanly, use the first checkpoint for fuel and weather discipline, then ride Lukmanier pass road with something in reserve. The best part sits around Lukmanier pass road, Oberalppass high road, Vorderrhein valley flow, while Chur fuel gate and Disentis food stop keep the day practical instead of turning it into a fuel hunt. Check the selected map before departure: scenic sections, transfer sections, speed/control reminders, risk points and the GPX checkpoint order are deliberately visible so the route is understandable before the engine starts. Ride it early if the area is popular, keep the photo stops legal, and shorten the route if weather, daylight or energy stops agreeing with the plan.

You top out at 1915 m here. The road climbs 1322 m on the way up to it, steadily. Reckon on about 9 °C colder than the valley, and more in the wind. High enough to hold ice in the shaded corners early and late in the year. Next is Andermatt, mostly downhill.
